Selling my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ with the 4.0L inline-six engine, automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, factory Dana 44 rear axle and 3.73 gearing. It has a clean title and has had no accidents during my ownership. The exterior is Midnight Blue Pearlcoat with a Dark Slate Gray cloth interior; the seats are in great shape with no rips or tears. 

I purchased the Jeep from Legend Car Company in Deal, New Jersey, in August 2022 for $14,500. It had approximately 130,000 miles at the time. Records are included. 

Since then, I have invested thousands of dollars in maintenance, repairs and upgrades. The Jeep runs and drives very well and has been a reliable daily driver. I purchased a new vehicle earlier this year, which is why I am selling it. I have complete service records and receipts covering my ownership.

Additional Info:

• The frame underwent professional rust repair in 2024. The work is documented in the included service records. I do not currently observe any visible frame rust.
• The Jeep has some surface-level body rust, which is described below. 
• The interior carpets were removed after the soft top developed a leak, which is why I purchased the hardtop in 2022. The exposed floors are easy to clean and retain the factory drain plugs, making it easy to wash out the interior. 

Known Issues:

• The windshield has a crack extending from one corner toward the edges. The estimated replacement cost is approximately ~$300.
• The heater and air conditioning both work, but the blower fan currently works only on the highest of its four settings.
• There is surface rust and bubbling on both front fenders, more noticeably on the driver’s side, along with some bubbling beneath the driver’s-side door. All affected areas are shown in the photos.
• The driver’s-side door lock sticks intermittently, mainly in cold weather, and may not unlock from inside. When this occurs, it can still be unlocked from outside with the key. The passenger-side and rear gate locks work properly.
• The check-engine light comes on intermittently with code P0038, which relates to the HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2). My mechanic believes the code may be caused by a known PCM issue affecting some 2005–2006 Wranglers, although the sensor or wiring could also be responsible. The Jeep continues to run and drive normally. If repair is needed, the typical range is $250–$400. 
• The fog-lights work but need a new fuse. 
• There is a small crack in the driver's side door panel (pictured). There are no cracks in the dash or passenger side door. 

Notes:

This is a 20-year-old Jeep and is not cosmetically perfect, but it runs and drives well, has extensive service documentation and includes several valuable extras. The reliable 4.0L engine, Dana 44 rear axle, Rally Tops hardtop, documented frame repairs and maintenance history make it a strong daily driver or seasonal vehicle.

The asking price reflects the known windshield, blower-fan, intermittent check engine code and cosmetic issues.
